The oceanic zone and the longest underwater tunnel in Poland

Come and see the underwater world at the Łódź ZOO Orientarium. In the oceanic zone, stand face to face with sharks and rays.

Sharks, stingrays and a 27-metre underwater tunnel! All this can be seen in the oceanic zone of the Łódź Zoo Orientarium. In the water reservoirs, you can admire the coral reef and unique fish species. Passing through our underwater tunnel, the Orientarium visitors can watch eagle rays swimming overhead or the only bowmouth guitarfish in Poland! This is where you can see sandbar sharks or unique zebra sharks.

Three million litres of water

Visitors that come by the oceanic zone will walk among seven oceanic reservoirs. You can admire more than 180 species of animals here! Some of them prefer swimming right at the bottom, while others across the entire height of the reservoir. Observing the underwater life a bit longer, you can realise how unique and exceptional show is taking place here constantly.
