Is the Łódź ZOO open on public holidays?

Yes. The Zoo is open all year round.

I’m bringing children under three years old. Do I have to pay for them?

Children under the age of three can enter the ZOO free of charge.

How old do visitors have to be to enter the Łódź ZOO on their own?

Children under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I smoke anywhere in the ZOO?

Smoking is prohibited everywhere in the ZOO, except for the food court area.

Are there any items that are not allowed in the ZOO?

Yes, for the safety of our animals, the Łódź ZOO reserves the right to withhold any objects that, according to our zookeepers, may cause distress for animals. E.g.: balloons, trumpets, pyrotechnic toys.

Can I take photos and videos and publish them online?

Yes, but not for commercial purposes. You must follow the visitor paths, and it is strictly forbidden to use flash anywhere near animal enclosures. You can publish your photos on your private social media channels. Feel free to link the ZOO’s official channels (@zoolodz).

How much does parking cost at the ZOO and where is it?

Parking at Orientarium Zoo Łódź costs PLN 30/day. You can park in any of the car parks around the ZOO: Krzemieniecka street, Minerska street, and in the Atlas Arena car park (fee as per the current price list). We strongly encourage you to carpool, use public transport, cycle and walk.

Can I rent a wheelchair?

Yes, wheelchairs are available free of charge.

Can I bring pets?

No, for the safety of our visitors and animals, it is strictly prohibited to bring any pets.

Can I eat at the ZOO?

Yes, we have two food service areas for you.

Can I bring my bicycle or scooter to the ZOO?

No. To ensure the safety of our animals and other visitors – bicycles, scooters, roller skates, skateboards must be left outside in a dedicated area. Ride-on-toys and push-toys for children and toddlers are permitted.

Can I feed the animals?

Feeding and teasing the animals is strictly prohibited. Please do not knock on the windows or shout at the animals.

Do the show feedings take place every day and are they free of charge?

Yes. Follow the tab “Show feedings” that contains information on the current feeding schedule.

Where can I find an item lost in the ZOO?

If you lose something during your visit to the ZOO, please contact us at bok@zoo.lodz.pl.

Where can I receive first aid?

Ask any staff member or animal keeper for help.

How long does it take to tour the Łódź ZOO?

Most visitors spend an average of 3 hours with us, but it is up to you how long you stay. We offer food, restaurants and activities to give you and your family a full day of fun and memories. Remember that the ZOO ticket counters close one hour earlier than the entire establishment.

What is the best time of day to visit Łódź ZOO?

It is worth visiting in the morning or early afternoon, as the ZOO is definitely the most crowded in the afternoon.

Is there Wi-Fi available at the Łódź ZOO?

Yes, it is available in the Orientarium building.

Are there baby changing facilities at the ZOO?

Yes. They are located next to restrooms.

Does the Łódź ZOO accept the Łódź Big Family Card?

Yes, we also accept the Łódź Citizen Card. We do not accept the nationwide Big Family Card.
