On Friday, April 24, we’re opening Poland’s largest butterfly house – a unique space that combines exotic wildlife, contact with nature, and a modern relaxation area. It’s one of this season’s most extraordinary attractions.
Importantly, you can visit the butterfly house with your ticket to the Łódź Zoo, at no additional cost.
The new butterfly house is located in a glass-enclosed connecting passageway that has undergone a spectacular transformation, turning into an elegant, tropical conservatory. From the very first steps, visitors are transported to a world full of greenery, natural light, and a peaceful atmosphere.
A tropical oasis in the heart of the city
Tall glass walls, lush vegetation, and decorative climbing plants create a space where you can pause for a moment and take a break from the city’s pace. The whole experience is complemented by subtle water features and a carefully designed microclimate that soothes the senses.
The butterfly house also features an impressive collection of plants – there are about 50 species of exotic plants here, including palms, banana trees, monsteras, dracaenas, peace lilies, crotons, and pothos.
